The Noble Spread was created to offer a more fluid, sociable way of sharing food at events. Rooted in British charcuterie and cheese and shaped by modern hospitality, our approach is guided by how people naturally gather, move, and interact within a space.

Our aim is to design food that supports an occasion rather than structuring it, allowing guests to remain present and engaged without interruption.

We work with British producers whose craft, provenance, and consistency align with our values. Ingredients are chosen with restraint and intention, prioritising flavour and integrity over scale or spectacle.

Across weddings, private celebrations, and corporate occasions, we focus on creating experiences that feel considered, unforced, and well judged.

Created to allow food, conversation, and movement to unfold together, naturally.

  • The Noble Spread is designed as a refined grazing experience that replaces traditional canapés and reception catering, rather than a formal seated meal. For weddings, our service works beautifully during the drinks reception, keeping guests relaxed and well fed without replacing your wedding breakfast. For private and corporate events, many clients use The Noble Spread as the primary savoury food offering during the reception or early evening window, with desserts or late‑night food following if the event runs on into the night.

  • Each guest receives an individual board featuring a balanced mix of British charcuterie, cheeses and accompaniments (typically around 15 elements in total), designed to feel more generous than classic canapés while remaining well-judged rather than heavy. For occasions with a seated meal to follow, the service ensures guests feel comfortably looked after without spoiling their appetite. For evening-only events with no main meal, we recommend pairing The Noble Spread with additional elements such as dessert or late-night food. We're always happy to advise on the most appropriate format for your event.

  • Most bookings are for 50–100 guests, with clients typically choosing the 90-minute flowing service for weddings, private celebrations and corporate events. We arrive ahead of service to set up our fully self-sufficient mobile cart and prepare the first boards on site. Guests receive their first board shortly after arrival, with our team present throughout to manage service, replenishment and flow. Because the cart can be positioned wherever it best supports your event, whether that’s within a reception space, gallery, hall, marquee, terrace or grounds, it encourages guests to move naturally through the venue and explore the space, without queuing at buffets or trying to catch a passing waiter. Guests are free to return to the cart during the service window if they wish, allowing the experience to unfold at a relaxed, sociable pace that supports the rhythm of your event rather than interrupting it. All timings and positioning are coordinated in advance with you, your planner and venue, and we clear down discreetly once service concludes.

  • We currently offer two core service formats:

    • Single‑serve reception
Each guest receives one generous individual board. Ideal for focused welcome drinks or shorter receptions, typically over 30–45 minutes.

    • 90‑minute flowing service
Guests receive an initial board and are welcome to return to the cart for replenishment during a 90‑minute service window. This format suits wedding receptions, evening celebrations and corporate events where you’d like a continuous sense of movement and abundance.

Both formats are fully staffed throughout.

  • The Noble Spread is particularly well suited to events of 50–100 guests, and with sufficient notice we can comfortably serve up to around 200. If you’re planning a more intimate gathering, we’re very happy to discuss your requirements and advise on how our format can work best for your space, timings and budget.

  • Yes. With sufficient lead time, we can arrange bespoke board engraving for all events, creating a subtle, considered detail that feels distinctive without being overt. We can also provide personalised napkins and menu cards to complement your event styling or brand, while keeping the overall presentation refined and appropriate to the venue. We’ll always discuss what feels right for your event, space and timeline.

  • Yes. We regularly accommodate a range of dietary requirements and plan for them with you in advance. We can provide suitable boards for vegetarian and gluten‑free guests as standard when you share numbers ahead of time, and we can design options for vegan guests with some additional planning. As our boards are individually assembled, we can discreetly tailor them to specific needs without compromising presentation or the guest experience. If you have complex requirements (for example, events with significant vegan requirements, or must be pork‑free or beef‑free), we’ll discuss what is and isn’t practical for your event.

  • We understand that guest numbers and timings can shift as plans evolve. We’ll confirm final guest numbers with you 14 days before your event so that we can plan ingredients and staffing carefully. Where possible, we’ll accommodate small adjustments up to 7 days before, and we’ll always be clear about any impact on your quote.

  • Pricing is based on guest numbers, service format, location and event details. As a guide:

    • Single‑serve service: from £12.50 per guest

    • 90‑minute flowing service: from £18.50 per guest

These prices are exclusive of VAT, which we do not currently charge.

After a brief conversation about your plans, we’ll provide a tailored quote so you can see exactly what is included and how any travel or specific requirements affect the price.

  • Our core service areas include London, Kent, Surrey, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire, the Cotswolds and Yorkshire.

We are very happy to travel nationally for the right event, and any travel costs will always be discussed and agreed with you in advance. Location, date and timings can influence your quote, and we’ll outline this clearly when we share pricing.
